Can we arrange to have our hired equipment in our hire car at Launceston Airport upon arrival?

We can definitely organise to have the car seats and/or equipment installed and picked up from the hire car company, this is no problem at all. You will just need to advise us which hire car company you intend on using, the name the car is booked and your estimated arrival and departure times. Unfortunately we are unable to arrange drop off at any other Tasmanian airport but we can arrange pick ups if you are flying out of a different location (delivery/courier costs apply).

Do you offer a discount for multiples?

We offer a 10% discount on all bookings for members of AMBA and its affiliated clubs. Please advise us of your membership number upon booking.

How far in advance do I need to book equipment if we are planning on visiting our family at Christmas time?

As soon as possible. This is our busiest time of the year and equipment books up fast, so if you have confirmed your travel dates, I would book your equipment too. During the year we offer a 10% Early Bird Christmas Special discount for all bookings made and paid by 30th September.

Where do I pick up and drop off my equipment from?

Our premises are located at Unit 16, 23 Killafaddy Road, Blue Ribbon Industrial Park, St Leonards TAS 7250. Sometimes local deliveries can be made for our Launceston based customers upon request.

What happens if my child damages or stains the equipment?

We understand accidents happen and that small marks and food stains can occur with children. However, as stated in our T&Cs “The Owner reserves the right to charge a refundable $50.00 bond/deposit fee on all equipment hired and a refund is dependent upon the return of the hired equipment in as good and clean condition as when it was received by the customer or as when it was provided by the Owner”.

Can I book equipment for same day delivery/pick up?

If we have availability then yes certainly. These bookings are classed as last minute bookings and need to be secured with a credit card payment over the phone at the time of booking.

Can I cancel my booking if my travel plans change?

Refunds are only given if at least 24 hours notice is given before delivery/pick up date. Cancellations on last minute bookings (bookings made for delivery same day or within 24 hours) forfeit 100% of the refund. In some circumstances a credit can be applied for the items until you are able to reschedule your trip.

Why can’t I pay for the items when I pick up?

Unfortunately, we do not “hold” equipment. All bookings must be paid for upfront to guarantee they will be available for your intended dates.
